Beginning Agility

Before registering for an agility class, please review the Agility Class Skills Assessment in order to ensure the class is appropriate for you and your dog.

Description: Beginning Agility is a basic introduction to all agility obstacles.  The class will begin doing one obstacle at a time while focusing on basic skills needed to run agility.  Sequences of obstacles will be added slowly throughout the course.  Core skills taught in this class include:

• A-Frame at a lowered height

• Teeter at a lowered height

• 10 ft tunnel unassisted

• Sequence of 4 obstacles

• Weave poles with offset and guide wires

Prerequisites:

• Age 9 months or older
• Basic obedience skills (come, sit, down)
• Friendly around other dogs

Date and Time:  Tuesdays, Apr 29 - Jun 10  (7 weeks) 8:15pm - 9:15pm

Cost: $85.00 non-members, $63.75 members
