Membership

If you are interested in becoming a 4RK9's member, you need to:

1. Complete two classes given by 4RK9's.

2. Obtain a membership form from one of the members and have three club members sponsor you.

3. Attend three club meetings (the second Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.)

4. Volunteer twelve hours of time to the club.

5. On your third club meeting, a member's vote will be taken and you will be informed of the decision within the next few days.

6. Attendance to the club's meetings is very important if you wish to have any say in club policies and decisions and keep informed to the club's direction.

The annual membership fee is $20 for one person or $30 for a family.

Members receive a 25% discount on the class prices and usually are the first to know when a new class/seminar/event is being offered.

Once you become a member, you must continue to volunteer 12 hours every six months to stay on the active list. The active list allows you the privilege of voting during the annual election and the opportunity to volunteer for one of the various positions needed to make our club run effectively.

As an active member, you may decide to purchase a key to the club building ($120 every six months plus a one time $20 deposit) which allows you to train your dog at your convenience during the building's open time.
